On August 6, we officially signed a renewed Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Baden-Württemberg and the Institute for Development of Vocational Education and Social Security of Vietnam.
This memorandum sets the framework for cooperation between Hanoi Vocational College of Technology (#HACTECH) and the Centre for School Quality and Teacher Training (#ZSL). It marks the continuation of a strong and trusted partnership—and opens a new chapter in our shared commitment to:
🔹 Vocational excellence 🔹 International cooperation 🔹 Educational innovation
🚀 Building on the Success of the FiVe Project
Together, we’ve achieved:
✅ Training Vietnamese educators in action-oriented teaching ✅ Developing a curriculum based on German standards ✅ Strengthening ties between education and industry ✅ Establishing one of the few certified vocational schools outside Germany
Through a two-year program (Fachschule für Elektrotechnik), students at HACTECH can acquire a Technical Engineer Diploma—recognized in Baden-Württemberg as a “Techniker”.
The same day we also celebrated the graduation of 6 more students that underwent this highly challenging program.
🌍 A Changing Landscape
Originally, skilled worker migration to Germany wasn’t a goal of the project. But times have changed—Germany is now facing a shortage of qualified workers. This adds a new dimension and opens exciting possibilities for future collaboration.
